EMA Cloud Pro
A planned compact chart layer designed to show whether short-term movement and slower trend agree, disagree, or are changing.
Planned four-band read
Each band would keep its own vote.
The design keeps each pair separate. The aggregate state would turn bullish or bearish only when every comparison agrees.
01
Fast 5/12
The quickest ribbon responds first when short-term direction begins to change.
02
Signal 8/9
A tighter pair tracks near-term agreement without replacing the broader trend read.
03
Trend 54/72
The slower ribbon frames directional persistence and naturally turns later.
04
Balance 62/64
The narrow long-term pair shows whether the slower structure is internally aligned.
Planned calculation contract
Higher-timeframe context without future leak.
The planned blank timeframe setting would calculate directly on the chart. A custom equal-or-higher timeframe could use the last completed source candle, while an optional developing mode would clearly label unfinished higher-timeframe values as live.
Planned capabilities
- Four independently switchable EMA bands
- Chart-timeframe or equal/higher MTF calculation
- Confirmed HTF values enabled by default
- Compact four-band alignment monitor
- Optional candle coloring on full agreement
- Bullish, bearish, and mixed-transition alerts
Planned boundary
Trend context, not a trade decision.
- EMAs are lagging calculations, not forecasts
- Developing HTF values can change before source close
- Visual offset changes placement, not calculation
- No entries, exits, position sizing, or order placement
EMA Cloud Pro questions
Frequently asked questions
What does full EMA alignment mean?
Bullish alignment means the first EMA is above the second EMA in all four bands. Bearish alignment means all four comparisons are below. Any disagreement is reported as mixed.
Does EMA Cloud Pro use higher-timeframe data?
It can. Leave the EMA timeframe blank to use the chart timeframe, or select an equal/higher timeframe. Confirmed HTF mode uses only the last completed source candle and is enabled by default.
Why can developing HTF clouds move?
An unfinished higher-timeframe candle continues to update. Turning confirmed mode off intentionally exposes those developing EMA values, so their position and alignment can change before that source candle closes.
Is an aligned cloud a buy or sell signal?
No. Alignment describes agreement among four lagging EMA pairs. It does not evaluate liquidity, market structure, risk, or whether a trade is appropriate.
