The four bands
Each pair keeps its own state.
The aggregate turns bullish or bearish only when all four comparisons agree. Anything else is mixed.
- Fast 5/12
- Responds first when short-term direction changes.
- Signal 8/9
- A tight pair that tracks near-term agreement.
- Trend 54/72
- A slower pair that turns later and frames persistence.
- Balance 62/64
- A narrow long pair that shows whether the slow structure agrees with itself.
How it calculates
Higher-timeframe context without future leak.
- Chart or higher timeframe
- Leave the EMA timeframe blank to calculate on the chart, or choose an equal or higher timeframe. Lower timeframes are refused.
- Confirmed HTF values
- On by default. Uses the last completed source candle, so nothing on the chart leaks the future.
- Panel
- Reports each band as UP or DOWN and the aggregate ALIGNMENT as BULLISH, BEARISH, or MIXED.
- Alerts
- Bullish alignment, bearish alignment, and alignment became mixed.
What it would not do
- EMAs lag price. They describe, they do not forecast.
- A developing higher-timeframe value can move until its source candle closes.
- Visual offset changes placement, not calculation.
- No entries, exits, position sizing, or order placement.
