Glossary

The words on the chart, and what else they are called.

Fractal Model Pro+ prints one vocabulary. Other traders use other names for the same things. This page maps them so you can read the chart, the lessons, and everything else you have read, without translating in your head.

DivergenceSMT, smart money divergenceA comparison against related symbols at the same pivot; one point of the score, never a standalone trigger. What it draws
Chart and model timeframesconfirmation and model pair, LTF/HTF pairThe fixed pair: the chart timeframe confirms, the model timeframe frames. 15m confirms 4H; 1H confirms 1D.Multi-timeframe analysis
Parent readhigher-pair context, HTF biasOne state from the next pair up, shown for context on drill-down charts and never owning the chart.Multi-timeframe analysis
Invalidationstop, failure levelPrice trading back through the breach extreme. The read has failed and is never redrawn as a winner.Extend and Finish

The other names are listed so this page can be found by people who learned them elsewhere. They are not claims about any other product or author, and nothing here is a trade recommendation. The free primerwalks through every term in order.
