Supply & Demand+

A planned chart layer that keeps support, resistance, weekly and monthly opens, and prior-month highs and lows visible in one place.

Supply & Demand+ / level mapIllustrative view
Automatic levels are price lines, not projected zones. Higher-timeframe signals appear only after their source bar confirms.

Planned chart output

Designed for confirmed support and resistance lines—not automatic trading zones.

Supply & Demand+ is designed to turn a completed momentum-exhaustion event into a single chart reference. Support would anchor to the confirming source candle’s open; resistance would anchor to its close. The line would remain visible until the lifecycle rules replace or remove it.

The planned indicator would also maintain current weekly and monthly opens plus completed prior-month extremes. Unlike FMP, it would not qualify Candle 2 points of interest, confirm paired-timeframe CISD, or map C1–C4 delivery. It is intentionally narrower.

Planned level workflow

From exhaustion to a usable level.

The indicator separates detection from confirmation, then maintains the level until price structure produces a replacement.

  1. 01

    Detect

A completed momentum-exhaustion event creates a possible support or resistance level.

  2. 02

    Confirm

Chart signals finalize at bar close; higher-timeframe events wait for the source bar to close.

  3. 03

    Persist

A confirmed price line remains visible until a newer event replaces it or its rules remove it.

  4. 04

    Reference

Weekly and monthly opens plus prior-month extremes keep higher-timeframe context on the chart.

Planned chart contract

Clear references without invented precision.

Support captures the confirming source candle's open; resistance captures its close. Higher-timeframe references use known opens and completed prior-month extremes.

Planned boundaries

  • Price lines, not projected supply/demand zones
  • Equal or higher signal timeframe only
  • No automated entries, exits, or order placement
  • No performance or outcome claims
  • Independent support and resistance controls
  • Chart or confirmed higher-timeframe signals
  • Minimum level lifespan filter
  • Optional right-extension for qualified levels
  • Current weekly and monthly opens
  • Confirmed prior-month high and low
  • Right-edge reference labels
  • Separate support and resistance alerts

Supply & Demand+ questions

Frequently asked questions

Does Supply & Demand+ draw supply and demand zones?

No. It draws confirmed support and resistance price lines. Calling those lines zones would imply a width and precision the indicator does not calculate.

How are support and resistance prices selected?

Support captures the confirming source candle open, while resistance captures the confirming source candle close. The event must first satisfy the indicator’s momentum-exhaustion rules.

When does a higher-timeframe level appear?

Only after the requested source candle closes. An unfinished higher-timeframe bar does not publish a confirmed historical level.

Why can’t I request a lower signal timeframe?

The companion tool is designed for the chart timeframe or an equal/higher source timeframe. Rejecting lower requests keeps the display contract clear and avoids presenting lower-timeframe noise as higher-context structure.

What higher-timeframe references are included?

The indicator can display the current weekly open, current monthly open, and confirmed prior-month high and low with right-edge labels.

How is Supply & Demand+ different from FMP?

Supply & Demand+ is a restrained price-line utility. FMP is a complete C1–C4 structure and delivery model with point-of-interest qualification, paired CISD, objectives, and invalidation.
